Carmen, our instructor for the kids. Her enthusiasm for sailing and her cheerful and helpful nature convinced us that she is exactly the right person for this job!
From Carmen: I got into sailing through my mother, the first time I went sailing myself was in 2019 on a family vacation in Koudum. There I learned the basics on Valken and immediately enjoyed it. In July 2020 I did the SBF inland under sail there, and in October I went to Sail&Surf for the first time (Holland was a bit too cold). The sportier boats and the cheerful family atmosphere at Sail&Surf convinced me, which is why I did the rest of the SBF here in 2023 so that I could work here after graduating from high school in 2024. Because it was such a great time, I'm back this season and am looking forward to 9 great months!
