SAILING / SURFING SKILLS
Sailing/surfing skills on the desired boat/board type are required for rental.
The list of maneuvers we expect the boat skipper to be able to perform safely in winds up to 4 Bft 4/20 knots can be found for each individual boat type under the "Fleet" section (see link below).
LIFE JACKET - WETSUIT - SHOES
Wearing a wetsuit is mandatory in water temperatures below 20ºC (except for keelboats). Wetsuits can be rented from us for a small fee.
Wearing a life jacket is mandatory on all capsizable boats and surfboards. On non-capsizable boats, it is mandatory to have a life jacket with you. The life jacket is included in the rental price.
Neoprene shoes, athletic shoes, or sneakers are mandatory due to the risk of injury. Neoprene shoes can be rented from us for a small fee.
PAYMENT & DEPOSIT
The rental fee and the deposit must be paid in advance directly at the rental station.
The deposit refund conditions are:
The boat/board is returned on time and without damage caused by the renter.
The boat/board remains within the prescribed sailing area (see image below).
No rescue measures were necessary due to the renter's insufficient knowledge.
